Christine Elliott portrait session on December 6, 2012Christine completed her honours degree in History at the University of Western Ontario prior to completing her Bachelor of Laws at Western. During her professional career Christine worked for the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Office of the Ombudsman of Ontario auditing trust companies. She has also worked with one of the major Canadian banks in their International Audit Department. Christine is a founding partner of Flaherty Dow Elliott & McCarthy Law Firm where she currently practises in the areas of wills, trusts and estates. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Durham Region Law Association. Christine has represented the ridings of Whitby-Oshawa since 2006 in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Member of Provincial Parliament. She is also Deputy Leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party and Opposition Critic for Health and Long Term Care
